Our trip to Manor Infants

Hi, it's us again - the iVengers!

On Wednesday the 12th of October, we went to Brimington Manor Infants School to talk to the children about Online Safety. We explained why you shouldn’t be on the internet all the time, what cyber-bullying is and what to do if you receive mean messages online.

When we arrived at Manor Infants, Mrs Dennis, who is the headteacher, showed us around the school. It was very alluring. We read books, including: When Charlie McButton Lost Power; Once upon a Time Online; Dot and Tek, to the year 2 class.

The children were very interested and loved listening to the books that we read to them. Adding to that, they answered all the questions correctly and had brilliant manners. Every single I-venger that went really enjoyed going. As we were leaving, the Year 2 teacher asked, ‘Who would like to be an i-Venger when you go to Brimington Juniors?’. Nearly all of them put their hand up - we must have impressed them!

After half term, we will be going to Henry Bradley Infants to do it all over again. We can’t wait.
