Joe, in Year 6, uses Raspberry Pi for its programming abilities and has written a blog post to tell you a bit more about it and what it does. It might even persuade you to give it a go!

No, not this type of Raspberry Pie!
Raspberry Pi, is a tiny computer, slightly bigger than a pack of chewing gum! It looks like the picture below!
It has great programming skills (by programming I mean making games and apps).
They cost between £14.12 - £99.80.

Why I like it?
I like programming with Raspberry Pi. I want to be a programmer when I am older. The last program I did let me type in any number and it gave you the multiplication table for that number. I showed this on my Microsoft teams call with my teacher! I used Thonny python language for that, but I also enjoy using Scratch for animation programming.
What am I going to use Raspberry Pi for next?
I am going to program something more advanced next using Thonny. I am also going to use the GPIO (General Purpose Input Output) pins to create electronic circuits by using cables, LEDs and buzzers.
Do you want to learn more and maybe become a programmer yourself?
Here is a website that shows you what you can do with a Raspberry Pi:
You can use it as a computer, to program games and even create modifications on Minecraft!
