THE NEWTADILE IS CYBER-BULLIED

Newtadile sat in his liar staring at the towering pile of homework he had to type up. “Oh forget it, if the teachers say anything for not doing my homework I'll just eat them!" chuckled the Newtadile.

So instead of doing his homework like everybody else, Newtadile clicked onto the internet and logged onto his favourite game of ‘squash the teacher’. Newtadile had been happily playing when up popped a message saying he had won £2,000 and to click here. The Newtadile was so excited he clicked here and gave all his details.

He was going to be rich!

The following night Newtadile was happily playing squash the teacher with a friend he'd made online. When he received a message from his saying he was ugly and was rubbish at squashing the teachers. This really upset the Newtadile as he thought they were friends. As the week went by the messages became more and more horrible and hurtful. The Newtadile no longer felt happy and was really miserable he didn't even want to trick the teachers or eat them! Trudging around Brimington Junior School one Tuesday afternoon he noticed the E - SAFETY display in the chill-out zone.

But how could he? He was the Newtadile. Big and tough or so he thought.

So the Newtadile ignored the notice thinking it would soon go away.

But it didn't...

It got worse...

By now the Newtadile was a quivering wreck he wasn't eating or sleeping. The computer knew all about his life and had taken it over.

A voice in his head kept saying

‘TELL SOMEONE’

Newtadile finally knew what he must do and should have done weeks ago.

He went straight to the nearest adult in school, who happened to be Mrs Freeston and told her how he was being bullied and how he had put all his personal details online too.

Mrs Freeston took control straight away and together they reported the online bullies and made it

STOP!!
