Our Interactive Online Safety Display

Our new mini Techie wall – next to Mrs Facer’s desk- helps you to know what apps or games you should go on and how to stay safe online. You can get an IPAD or any smart device and get a QR scanner app and scan one of the codes. It should come up with a website/video and it can help you if you’re worried about something or if you want to know something about online safety.

You will find: information on cyber bullying, Online Safety games, Snap map privacy settings, age limits, selfie advice, fake news, your digital rights and social media myths.

Luckily for you, all the Mini Techies at Brimington Junior School have had lots of training on using this wall so please come and find us if you are having trouble accessing any of our QR codes. We want to help you!

You can also have a flick through the magazine on the wall that could tell you if something is wrong or if someone is bulling you online, it could help you find the right people to talk to. We hope you visit it soon.
